School District League is NYC’s greatest youth soccer community, proudly serving close to 2,500 boys and girls from Pre-K to 8th grades through private, charter, and public schools across New York City for over 10 years.

League Rules & Guidelines

Fee Structure
  • Spring Season: April to June
  • Summer Season: June to August
  • Fall Season: September to November
  • Winter Season: January to March

All players must wear the official uniform on game day. Uniform costs are separate from registration fees.

  • Cost: Approx $90 (plus tax/shipping) via Soccer.com.
  • Durability: Designed to last from Spring 2026 through Spring 2028.
  • Delivery: Custom orders take time. If not arrived by Game 1, wear plain shirts/shorts in matching colors.
  • Colors: Home Team = Dark Jersey | Away Team = Light Jersey.
  • Safety: Shin guards are mandatory.

All Players should receive 50% playing time. While time may not be perfectly even every game, no player should sit out more than half a game. We believe the opportunity to play is more important than the result.

  • Zero Tolerance: Verbal abuse of referees will result in expulsion from the field.
  • Encourage players to work hard and take risks.
Required Equipment
  • Inflated soccer ball
  • Large water bottle
  • Shin guards (worn under socks)
  • Soccer cleats (double-knotted)

The League operates at specific locations per district:

Pre-K – Kindergarten
  • 30-minute games (3 thirds)
  • Coed, 3v3 format
  • No goalkeepers, No referees
  • Max roster: 6 players
1st – 2nd Grades
  • 40-minute games (4 quarters)
  • Boys/Girls separate, 5v5 format
  • Goalkeepers: Yes, Referees: Yes
  • Max roster: 9 players
3rd – 4th Grades
  • 50-minute games (2 halves)
  • Boys/Girls separate, 7v7 format
  • Goalkeepers: Yes, Referees: Yes
  • Max roster: 12 players
5th – 8th Grades
  • 60-minute games (2 halves)
  • Boys/Girls separate, 9v9 format
  • Goalkeepers: Yes, Referees: Yes
  • Max roster: 16 players
  • Pre-K – Kinder: Weekends 9:00 - 10:00 AM (30 min practice + 30 min game).
  • 1st & 2nd Grades: 1 mid-week practice + 1 weekend game.
  • 3rd & 4th Grades: 1 mid-week practice (5:30-7:00 PM) + 1 weekend game (Morning).
  • 5th & Older: 1 mid-week practice (5:30-7:00 PM) + 1 weekend game (Morning).

Typical Daily Camp Schedule

Participant arrival and check-in process.

Campers are divided into groups based on age and skill level.

Focus Areas:
  • Ball manipulation (Passing, Shooting, Dribbling, Finishing)
  • Individual motor skills & Physical stamina
  • Game vision and off-ball movement

Rest and rehydrate.

Games to test learned skills and encourage decision making under pressure.

Lunch break for all campers.

Arts & Crafts (Ages 5 & under) and Skills Competitions (Older kids).

Tournament style games to end the day competitively.

Stretching and cool down exercises.

End of day check out procedure.

Campers also attend local trips and meet professional players to encourage high aims and healthy living.
